In 1967, between sixth and seventh grade, I spent a few weeks in the summer with my cousin, Badet, who lived in Bangkok. Her dad was assigned to the UNDP office and they lived there for a couple of years.

I wrote this for a magazine when I got back. I have also posted the drawings on this site.

Later, I will write what I remember, and though so long ago, the images and sights of that first trip have remained.
